REGARDING HAIL STORM IN BASAR ON 11TH MARCH 2011

Sir as the Adviser Peace and Justice Dept. CBCNI my appeal to both the effected Party in the Tomi polytechnic college West siang dist. Arunachal Pradesh Basar to show their utmost restrain after this unfortunate Cyclone which devasted part of the Hostel . To my finding Sri T. Migo Basar the Proprietor of the Tomi polytechnic college cannot be blamed for the act of nature as his college felled in the line of the massive cyclone zone . It is pertinent to mention that big trees uprooted and houses in this zone where completely devasted how so strong they where . Even D.T Cable owner incurred heavy loss .

Therefore my appeal to Christian brothers in particular and others in general who are ambassadors of their society - Be a disciplined and good example for future generation . One should not play communal card to hide his own faults . I personally know Sri T. Migo Basars endeavor to open this college to cater to the need of the Poorest of the poor students therefore he will also have certain limitations .

The effected students should have kept patient and instead of seeking compensation from the Govt. they should have not attacked the house of the Sri T. Migo Basar ( chairman – TPC) . The situation at that time was such that everyone where looking after their own house therefore Sri T. Migo Basar cannot be blamed of inaction after the complaint by the students . As even in this situation he along with Principal went and visited the hostel and was more unhappy than others also . Later the Police which came for the law and order was for students own good as their was a commotion of short . And as expected the student mob not only ransacked the Office of the Principal but ransacked Sri T. Migo Basars house as well.

Howsoever I request Sri T. Migo Basar the owner to forgive the young students who may have committed anything wrong in their heated fashion after all this is time of inadvertent mistakes . I also appeal to the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh to immediately release a special package to the loss caused by the cyclone as the DT cable owner and some 5-6 greeneries are also said to be worst effected .Last but not the least I appeal to all the Parents and relatives to refrain from giving this incident any political or communal color as Sri T. Migo Basars credentials are well respected in this field . The college authority are trying their best to make an alternative arrangement before 28th March2011.

Sincerely your’s ,

Togo Basar
